About
Jenny Berry is an American painter working in oil, known for interior still lifes and window-lit compositions that explore quiet structure, light, and spatial restraint. Her work focuses on familiar domestic objects—glass vessels, flowers, fruit, and architectural thresholds—used as a means to investigate atmosphere, balance, and painterly economy.

Berry has painted professionally for over two decades and has exhibited widely in the United States. Her paintings are held in private collections nationally and internationally. She has also taught oil painting extensively, with an emphasis on realism, observation, and the relationship between structure and abstraction.
Berry’s current work reflects a sustained interest in how light moves through interior space, often favoring limited arrangements and pared-down palettes to allow material, color temperature, and surface to carry the image.

Her work has received awards from national and regional organizations, including the National Oil & Acrylic Painters’ Society (NOAPS), and has been recognized by institutions such as Art Center Sarasota.
